Tadd Haygood, joined Equiventure Capital in June 2017 and serves as the firm’s Senior Associate financial advisor and consultant for the Southwestern Division, Dallas, Texas. In this position, Mr. Haygood is responsible for development and origination of new Client projects, involving ground-up construction, rehab, reposition, joint venture and acquisitions encompassing all types of Commercial Real Estate assets and structuring financing to fulfill the project capital stack requirements.
Prior to joining Equiventure Capital, Mr. Haygood built a successful 30+ year career of executive-level experience in several major industries. His previous engagements have included strategic development and financing of themed resorts, hotels, youth sports facilities, coastal residential developments, senior independent living and multi-family complexes. Mr. Haygood has significant experience working with borrowers and lenders structuring financing and is well-versed in all major property types. As an advisor and consultant, he designed and implemented corporate-wide management systems for more than 50+ high-profile businesses, encompassing several industry sectors including, healthcare, transportation, metal foundries, oil & gas pipeline sectors. As a Principal, Executive Officer and Financial Advisor, Mr. Haygood’s leadership consistently contributed to the financial success of an apparel business, a water technology and clean coal products companies, and commercial project developments and has personally negotiated more than $500+ million in financing over the course of his career. He has actively worked on international initiatives in Southern Europe, Asia, China, Africa, Peru, and Canada.
Mr. Haygood earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas, an MBA in Finance from the University of Dallas, with highest honors and is actively enrolled in a course of study to complete his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
